League rules

The Coed division shall have the same rules as all other divisions Plus the following Coed teams must have a minimum of three female outfield players on the field at all times . If they do not have at least three females on the field they must play short-handed

(A team who forfeits a game, due to using an ineligible player(s) ,or causes a game to be abandoned, cannot win their division. A player or players may not guest for any team if doing so leaves the team they are registered with no substitutes Players can only guest for a team in a higher division Players can only guest for one team per division as a player may only play for 1 team in a division

No Slide tackles A goal cannot be scored from any re-start save and except a penalty kick No Throw-ins all are kick-ins Players are to be a minimum of 4 steps away from any restart Outdoor soccer rules apply unless stated otherwise in these rules A TEAM TRAILING BY 5 OR MORE GOALS MAY ADD 1 PLAYER UNTIL THE GOAL SPREAD IS REDUCED TO 4 GOALS

A team using an ineligible player must inform the other team and the referee prior to the start of the game of their intention The game will then be treated as a forfeit. The teams may agree to play game as a friendly. Coaches do not have the right to make an agreement between themselves to ignore this rule and play the game as a league game Players are subject to suspension if they play illegally as is the offending team staff

All players must be registered for indoor soccer with the ECSA/OSA through the WISC Players can only play for one team in a division This rule also applies to players who guest for a team in a higher division. Players can only play as a guest in a higher division

Matches consist of two 25-minute halves with a maximum 5-minute half-time interval. The clock runs continuously except for injuries. The referee is the sole keeper of time for the game

Substitutions are unlimited and may be made on the fly, No substitute can enter the field of play until the player being substituted Is within one (1) step of their bench. All substitutions are to take place at the players own bench this applies to the player(s) leaving and entering the field of play. The referee may issue a yellow card(s) for player(s) breaking this rule.

Shin guards are mandatory. Teams must wear matching jerseys with visible numbers. Home team is to supply a game ball Colour clash home team changes Tops

League positions are decided by Points , Goal Difference, Least Number of Goals Conceded, Most Goals Scored. Win = 3 Points, Draw = 1 Point, Loss = 0 Points.

The team of a player who receives a red card shall play shorthanded for 5 minutes, regardless of how many goals are scored. The offending player must leave the playing area prior to the game restarting. The team of a player who receives a Yellow card shall play shorthanded for a maximum of two minutes. If the team with the extra player scores a goal prior to the two minutes being served the team playing short shall return to its full compliment of players. If a GK receives a yellow card another player may serve the two minute penalty and the team plays shorthanded .

Parents and spectators are expected to support all players positively. Abusive or behaviour will result in the game being stopped and a forfeit being charged against the the team whose spectators caused the game to be stopped Spectators are not allowed on the sidelines, which are reserved for registered players and officials only Teams are responsible for the behaviour of their own spectators Abuse of referees will not be tolerated and will result if the awarding of a Forfeit
